Hello Alekv, your plugin is awesome! It works as I expected to but I have a payment method with Bank transfers or deposits and it is also counting those as conversions.

The ones that pay with credit card or paypal are good. There are others that select to pay with bank transfer and the conversion is triggered but not all of them complete the order.

Is there a way to disable the tracking code for certain payment methods?

    Thanks!

    Hi Imsan

That is an interesting requirement. Right now it is not possible to disable it for certain payment methods. But I’m sure it’s doable.

Your requirement raises some more questions. Why would you not want to track those payment methods at all? You do receive some percentage of the payments.

Let’s assume a shop only allows bank transfers as payment method. If he turned the tracking off completely it would not serve its purpose as maybe 80% of the payments still would go through.

There is no way I can think of right now how to track the conversion after the payment has been made (over bank transfer).

One solution to this would be to attribute a lower amount of the cart value to the orders over bank transfer. That factor would be the same one as the factor of how many payments you receive in average. What do you think about this?

    Cheers

Hey alekv thank you for your reply.

Yes, the ideal option would be the conversion to be counted after an order changes status to processing or complete but due to the nature of the conversion tracking code and cookies I think that is not possible (as far as I know).

Your solution approach is much better than counting all conversions for a payment method or counting none of them at all. That would be a nice feature. I already have a record of people that order via deposit vs people that actually pay the order so I could use a fixed factor option, but if the plugin could do that automatically for a time range (e.g. past 30 days) would be better.

    Cheers,

    Luis
