What URL would you use to access this?

URL is www. tranquility project.org. I have begun to receive solicitations from various companies via email to “list” URL on search engines. Should I do this? If so, which company do I trust to do this well? Can you recommend which I do this with? Many thanks for your experience and direction. T

The site does work, and is live. If you can’t see it I’d suggest cleaning out your computers web and DNS cache so it will get everything new again.

As for the companies contacting you, anyone that has to solicit for work like that is not someone that I’d trust. I get those all the time too. Sometimes I get a bit “cheeky” and reply to them… As soon as I tell them what I expect, as per their original email, they very quickly say “no, we can’t do that (for that price)”. They are basically all scams. You can “register” your website with the search engines yourself for free, and as soon as you start getting other people to link to your site you won’t ever need to register it with the search engines again.

You were probably just experiencing the lag time that it takes a new domain name to propagate. The solicitations are spam. You can let google know you exist if it’ll make you feel better. https://www.google.com/submityourcontent/website-owner/
