Finish update button doesn’t work

Hmm that’s odd.
What version did you update from?

Do you see any errors? Perhaps in the servers error_log?
Anything mentioning AdRotate is interesting.

What does it say for the database version in settings > maintenance, near the bottom of the page.

We have the same problem. After updating to version 5.8.26, an additional banner appears stating the following:

“Thanks for updating cb-admin! You have almost completed updating AdRotate to version 5.8.26!
To complete the update click the button on the right. This may take a few seconds to complete!
For an overview of what has changed take a look at the development page and usually there is an article on the blog with more information as well.”

But when you click on the “Finish update” button, nothing happens!

Hopefully this will help……I had the same problem but based on Arnan’s questions I scrolled down and there was the message “current database 66 should be 68” and there is a button there that says “run updater” so I clicked it, now my database version appears correct, so I clicked on the blue “Finish Update” again and it went away.

That may help in some cases yes – The update can also be done/completed from Settings > Maintenance.
