Fine-tuned davinci003 model – no response from AI

    When using a fine-tuned model based on davinci003, a query is sent, there seems to be something going on, but no output is displayed in the web interface from the model. Looking at the console, it looks like the query is sent, but the response from the AI is empty.

    Fine-tuning can be an arduous undertaking as it involves training a base model with your own data. You would need to train with at least 3000 entries for the completion model to generate something interesting. So if you trained on very small set of data this can be the expected behaviour.

    Hi @valwa !

    My problem is different, the augmented base model does not say anything what-so-ever. My expectations are as follows (the percentages are just for illustration):

    1. Base model + few data entry items = Augmented model acts as the base model 99.99999% of the time.
    2. Base model + 3000 data entry items = Augmented base model 75% of the time with data from the 3000 25% of time, i.e. “generate something interesting”.

    My problem is that the augmented davince003 model does neither 1. nor 2., it is completely silent, no answer at all.

    This seems like a bug to me, I would expect at least 1. to happen.
