Finding/Updating Images

  • Apologies, I’m new to wordpress and trying to learn the ropes. I tried the tutorials/documentation here but I can’t find the answer I need quickly. I’ll continue going through the tutorials but I need to make some updates ASAP. I didn’t build the site and the programmer no longer available for questions. I’m hoping I don’t need to hire a programmer just to change some images. ??

    The site is: https://vitalmechanical.com and it’s using Bookcase theme.

    GOAL: I’m trying to update images used in a slider and on page headers. I looked where I’d expect to find them.. on the page or in the media tab but nothing. Following some advice here, I tried looking at Appearance/Editor section. While I found some code that I ‘think’ will do the trick, there are just URL’s (i.e. https://vitalmechanical.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/about1.jpg) in the code for the images. I can’t find them.

    Are these images not accessible via the WP admin panel? If not, can someone point me in the right direction?
