Finding uploaded files

  • WP is amazing for a computer neophyte like me but occasionally I am baffled. Latest: Several months ago I uploaded a logo and several photos and installed them in a Page. From time to time they’ve appeared with my other uploaded photos and items. Today I wanted to add them to a new Page and now I can’t find them. Most of my images are there, however. I suppose they are in a file called something like wp-uploads/images but I don’t know where to look for those files either.

    I’m running the TwentyEleven 1.3 theme and just updated to the latest wp version. My site is HVCMC.org.

  • Try your wp\wordpress\wp-content\themes\twentyeleven\images however you will probably find them in wp-content\uploads or are you using a gallery
    In any case go into wp-content\

    Where do I find those files?

    Also, I do use a gallery but I installed the gallery after I had uploaded the files I cannot now find.

    Ftp or cp your site and you will see the above folders
