Hi, I have a problem with configuring Loco Translate 2.0.5 for this plugin. Loco does not find the po/mo files.

I have filled in the path to the Mailchimp plugin languages folder …/mailchimp/po but no success. Do you have a guide on how to do the ‘bundle setup’?

  • Hey Eric,

Thanks for reaching out! Sorry for the delayed response here. Happy to take a look at this with you.

Just to set expectations properly before we start, I’ll be a little limited in how I can advise setting up the Loco Translate plugin since it was created by another developer. With that said, I added the Loco Translate plugin to my testing account, and I was able to see the .po files under ‘Loco Translate’ > ‘Plugins’ > ‘Additional Files Found’.

As for doing the bundle setup within the Loco Translate plugin, we wouldn’t have a guide for doing this but Loco Translate has some resources I was able to search for online:

For what it’s worth, our translation files will work if you set the appropriate language in the wpconfig. This can be adjusted from the WP Dashboard > ‘Settings’ > ‘General’ > ‘Site Language’.

Thanks again for posting, and please feel free to let us know if you need anything else.

    Best,
    Garnet
