Trying to use WP as a CMS.
Obviously not using Posts, but Pages.
Internal links is the norm, not the exception.

When a link to another Page is needed, it is a real pain to dig out the ID, and then paste that into a tag.

Is there a plugin that will add a button, when pressed offers a list of all existing Pages so that one can be chosen and inserted as a link without further ado?

    Thank you!

  • Why do you need the ID?
Click on the link icon and search in the box for the page or post you want to link to.

Sorry, but what search box would that be?

After having marked the text, if I click on my “Insert/edit link”-button an overlay window appears.
In it I have the fields “Link”, “Target”, “Title” and “Class”. Nowhere to search for an internal page or article.

    What am I missing?

    First bullet point of features:

Internal Linking – click a button for an internal link and it allows you to search for a post or browse a list of existing content and select it for inclusion.

You must be using an old version. Best course of action is to upgrade.

    Sorry, and thank you!
