Can Broken Link Checker find/fix issues where references to image files were named with the wrong case? We inherited/migrated a site we did not build to our system. We started finding missing images, even though they appeared on the previous host. A quick analysis revealed that the images (which were strangely in a folder outside of the normal WP folder structure, in an “images” folder in the site root) were referenced (“img src”) using all lowercase, but some of the files were named using uppercase characters. We can easily enough run a utility to rename the files. Can Broken Link checker identify all broken “img src” references and change them to lowercase?

    Hi @newtechweb ,

    I hope you’re doing well.

The Broken Link Checker can’t exactly check if an image is lowercase or uppercase, and the cloud version won’t be able to detect images as it’s not possible there yet, anyways, you can try the local (legacy) which will find broken link for images, it will show you the link and where it is but you would need to fix it manually as it won’t change the media library link, only post/pages links.

    I hope this helps.

    Best Regards,
