• I was running Twenty Eleven and it got nuked on the last upgrade. I was able to resurrect it with help from this forum. I backed it up and tried the next update a few weeks later. Once again it has crashed. I can’t get it back up this time, even using the backup.

I have opted to start again. I would really like to at least use the copy from my previous version. I’ve found the uploaded artwork in the file structure, but where in heck is all the page and post copy? I’ve dug through a ton of PHP code and can’t find a reference to a holder file or anything. But then I am not a PHP guy, so there is that.

    Help? Thanks…

  • Posts and page content are all in the database. Use PhpMyAdmin or whatever database management tool your host provides to export it.

I’ve got this problem too. I don’t know how to find the database copy. May I guess it doesn’t exist if I didn’t export one? So I can’t restore my blog from a raw copy of my wordpress, thus?

    Thanks in advance!
