Finding a function to help short description read from Avada to Google Merchant

    I have a WooCommerce connected on Avada, we are using a google listing and ads plug-in to send data to GMC. Because the description uses short codes, google is reading it as an empty field, not allowing us to post our products. So, I was wondering if there would be a filter that would utilize the short description (that doesn’t use short code) and swap this information for the full on description that uses short code.

    Below are the links that brought up similar issues with GLA and Avada with the short code. Hopefully these help as well. The first link is the wordpress forum, and the second one is the Github conversation that arose from it. Is anyone able to supply a function that helps translate the short description into a description for google to read? Thanks!
