We have been using popup maker extensively across our website for several years. Unfortunately, we have not always been careful/diligent with our targeting of these popups to specific pages. We now have a total of 99 different popups, 27 of which have no targeting set so the backend code of those 27 are on all pages of our site.

We are now trying to optimize our site for site speed, and as a part of this set targeting rules for these 27 popups to help improve speed. Is there anyway to search through our entire site to find which pages these 27 popups are actually used/able to be called by end user?

I realize this is not really a popup maker issue/question, but was hoping maybe someone has encountered/taken on a similar project and might be able to give some advice.

    Thanks,

    Hi @davidcb13

    Thanks for writing in!

If the 27 popups don’t have a targeting condition, those popups are rendering or displaying on all the pages/posts on your site. It will also display on your blog index page and category pages.

Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin.

    Hello @davidcb13,

That’s great that you’re planning to optimize your popups!

If you just want to find all the triggers on a page, there are a couple of snippets that can help you.

    1) You can run this in the console for each page or add it as a bookmark and click the bookmark for each page. This one will visually highlight the Popup Maker triggers on a page.

    2) This one is a Chrome snippet that will outline the triggers on a page, but also list the actual HTML element in the console too. You can load it, save it, then hit run for each of your pages.

Note: You’ll see a list of all the triggers in the hidden popups too. You’ll need to ignore them or update the code to ignore them.

We hope that’s what you’re asking. We’ll close out this thread for now, but please feel free to start a new thread or contact support ??
