    I’ve just upgraded my customer sites to V6, and it is a mess of epic proportions. I literally don’t know where to start.

    Well, let’s start with the “Find out more” link in the list view. It’s missing, and I have no idea why.

    I changed the event.php template file, but this is quite an excessive workaround for such an small thing.

    What am I missing?

    Hi there,

    Sorry about the trouble you are having, can I ask what version you upgraded from? I am not sure the “Find out More” part has been on the List view for a while. If you take a look at our Demo site, that really does not show up on the List view: https://demo.theeventscalendar.com/

    I think changing that to add it back would have been your best bet to begin with.

    Can you let me know what other issues you are having?

    Ah, ok. Well, you should add this link. Many users, believe it or not, don’t know that headings and images can be clickable links. Yes, really! ??

    I upgraded from the latest 5.x version. It was 5.16.6, I guess.

    First issue was the layout totally messed up. I understand that this was a tough update, and you really gave us enough time to be prepared. But it is really hard to swallow for customers that they have to pay hundreds of bucks for a plugin update.

    Second issue was the data migration. It did not work on ANY of my customer sites. I know that this is not a big deal, but it results in a lot of time-consuming questions by customers who don’t understand the dashboard message.

    As for your layout issues, we understand your pain! We do have a bunch of resources that may be able to assist you. Did you have previous customizations that were overwritten?
