I had emailed support the other day. when I upgraded from a real older version 6.7 or something, it wrecked the footer. We were able to take the extra CSS it added to the footer, but the directory page is still a mess. How do we fix this without having to redo every single listing? The images are smushed and too big and the bottom row looks bad.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there, thank you for getting in touch with us!

Let’s explore a few solutions in the upgrading process.

    1. Take a full backup of your website.
    2. Clone to another staging site to compare.
    3. Upgrading to the closest version is easy, and the longest jump might break some portions.
    4. Compare in visuals and debug.
    5. You can reupload some of your content again.
    6. There are some changes that might need some manual go-through.
    6. Nothing goes right, feel free to contact us

Jumping into one or two versions is good, but there is always a hassle to jump from 6.7 to 7.4.6 (current version). Kindly remember, jumping to a totally different version (not decimals) might break your site, this is why we recommend you upgrade on monthly basis or turn your auto upgrade option on.

I see your single listing page working well. Feel free to contact me for more help here https://directorist.com/contact/
