Finally, I can stop searching for crowdfunding theme and plugin!

What a relief. I had been spending months looking for a good, affordable, crowdfunding theme. There aren’t too many out there and the ones that are, are clunky and not too attractive.

So I had the idea to just look for a plugin and I could do the site myself. That is when I found Charitable plugin. It had the look I desired, the the percentage meter and a live countdown clock, social media sharing, it has it all.

So, once inside I was very pleased to see there is a FREE theme to use with the plugin. Change changed some colors and I was in business.

If you are using this to do your own fundraising, it comes with everything you need. If you are doing peer to peer, like true crowdsourcing, Charitable has that covered too. It is a paid upgrade and I recommend buying the Pro package. It is money well spent.

Along the way the support was great. I have been working with WP for a few years, but did get stuck couple times, nothing major. Eric was extremely prompt in answering emails and very helpful.
