I have spent countless hours searching for a solution that not only prevents my video files from being downloaded, but also password protects them.
Prevent Direct Access (alongside its protected video plugin) offers so much functionality. I can generate one-time download links, allow specific roles to view the content and encrypt the content too!
It is a little bit pricey, but the customer service is fantastic, they’re super helpful and fast at responding. This is the way forward for videographers. I’m even considering purchasing an extra extension that allows you to connect PayPal to your content and it will automatically generate a one-time download link for the client upon purchase. Great for drama productions and performances!
