• For the past years, I’v been using several different plugins to get my pics from Lightroom to my WP blog. Most of them don’t really work (anymore) or haven’t been maintained for a long period. Especially when I moved my site to SSL and WP made XML-RPC more secure, none of the ones I was using was uploading any pictures to my blog.

This Plugin not only simply uploads pictures to my WP media library, but is also able to synchronize already existing images and match them with the ones from my LR library. Everytime I change an image, it will replace the existing one in WP. Awesome!

Only one little downside: Changes to image’s metadata (e.g. title, description) don’t seem to be updated upon change. Or maybe I just got something wrong with the settings.

The Plugin is definitely worth the premium license. Especially when you are – as I am – using it for more than one site.

    Thanks a lot ??

It is, but the plugin wouldn’t update the HTML. It updates the information for this image in the Media Library and in the metadata of that image. Can’t update the HTML because it would be simply “dangerous” and there is no strict way of knowing where that information has been actually used. Another plugin could do it but WP/LR Sync shouldn’t (as I want the plugin to be 100% safe).
