I’ve checked both of the source links that you have provided and both of them do redirect to another URL. I think you had some cache issue when you tested, either on site or in browser. However, you can solve that by clearing the site cache once you set up your redirections, and then you can test redirections with a tool such as this one or from the incognito browser window.
