I am using multiple Woocommerce product filters with the “DROPDOWN” and “AND” options to filter products for different attributes on my site.

Earlier when I applied a filter for one attribute, the other filters only showed available attribute options and hide the empty ones.

Now if I apply one attribute in a filter, the other filters still show all the options even if they are empty.

I think this is happening after one of the recent updates. Can you please help?

    Hi @aviaggarwal!

Can you please share your site’ System Status Report?

You can get it by navigating to the WooCommerce / Status section of your site. Once there, click on the Get system report button and then copy it by clicking on the Copy for support button, then paste it here.

Please feel free to redact any information from your System Status Report that you think should not be shared publicly. ??

    Thank you!

    Hi @aviaggarwal!

Thank you for sharing that with us ??

Can you please head to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and Regenerate the product attributes lookup table by clicking on the Regenerate button?

If that does not resolve the issue, please perform a full conflict test on your site by following the instructions below:

You can read more about plugin and theme conflicts in our Self-Service Guide.

    How to test for conflicts

The best way to determine if the issue is being caused by a theme and/or plugin is to:

    1. Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty theme.
    2. Try to reproduce the problem:?Check whether the filters appear correctly.
    3. If the problem is resolved, it’s a theme conflict. If not, continue to the next steps.
    4. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce. You can do this manually or use a plugin to help (see below for tools).
    5. Try to reproduce the problem again. If the problem is resolved, it’s a plugin conflict. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step.
    6. Reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

For more detailed instructions, check out How to test for plugin and theme conflicts.

Please let us know how that goes.

    Tools to help with troubleshooting

Meks Quick Plugin Disabler will remember what plugins you had active when you switch it back on.

You can clone your site to a staging environment and perform tests without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

When I disabled the Product attributes lookup table (Enable table usage- Enable table usage Use the product attributes lookup table for catalog filtering.) option, the filters are working fine. I guess there is some bug in the code for this option.

It’s a new released feature under Woocommerce->Settings->Products->Advanced->Product attributes lookup table->Enable table usage

    Hi @aviaggarwal!

Glad to hear that you resolved the issue.

I have tried to replicate the same on my end however, it does not appear to cause any issues for me.

We will close this thread as resolved and keep an eye out for incoming requests, if this happens in other cases as well we will loop in our developers so that they can further investigate this ??

    Thank you!
