• I had to select “Theme Compatibility” because the plugin overrides template styles. The filters do not show.

    When I de-select “Theme Compatibility”, the filters show — but none are populated except for the “Filter by Book” dropdown. And if I select a book, nothing happens.

    On the Sermons page, the Preacher and Series are both displayed (imported from Sermon Browser).

    Thanks.

  • I have this same issue. The filters don’t show up on the archive page when the theme compatibility box is checked in settings.

    Also, I want the archive page to have a password on it. When I have theme compatibility checked, the page is password protected. When I don’t have it checked, the WordPress page password setting doesn’t seem to apply.

    Hi Jack,

    Could you please uncheck check “Theme Compatibility” and ping me once it’s done?
    I’ll then take a look at your website, to maybe identify what’s going on.

    @sjh687, filters cannot display once “Theme Compatibility” is checked, there is just no way to do it.

    Regarding password protection, that’s something that we have overlooked, my apologies. It will be fixed in the next version of the plugin. You can check progress here.

    @nikolam,

    Rather than making this change (un-selecting Theme Compatibility) on the “live” site, it’s already that way on my “test” site.

    And on my test site, the dropdowns are populated (except for “Filter by Topic). But selecting a preacher (for example) does nothing. There’s no “submit” button or equivalent, and there doesn’t appear to be any action from just selecting.

    Wow, that’s one strange issue, with even stranger symptoms.

    Could you please try installing development version and see if it has been resolved? (you need to remove existing Sermon Manager plugin first, and no data will be lost)
