Filtering post on the same page

    Hello,

    I have added a categories widget in the sidebar. However, when I select a category, the filter result is shown on a different page. For example when I choose “Australia”, the result is shown in /category/travel/australia/ instead of staying on /blog

    How can I make the filter result to show on the same page?

  • Hi @natalieshan97,

    That Category widget is a default WordPress widget and you are taken to the Category Archive page after you select a category is its the default behavior. The same thing is also happening with the default WordPress theme.

    A plugin like Post Grid and Filter Ultimate probably can accommodate your needs.
