I have scanned a lot of catalogues ranging from the 1910’s to the 1950’s, and published each catalogue as a viewable PDF as a page. I have tagged each page with each catalogue’s main theme (i.e. “Columbia”) and the year of issue (i.e. “1932”). Now I want to allow my readers to filter based on those two parameters. Click on the radio button called “Columbia” and the button called “1932”, and you will get all Columbia catalogues issued in 1932.

    That’s all I want.

Sadly the free version of the plugin does not support filtering on singular pages, whatever that means.

So before I buy anything: Will the PRO version of this plugin allow me to do what I want it to do? Or are there other free plugins (or maybe a native WordPress function) that will do the trick?

    Hi @stig-ove-voll

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Basically you have a page where all of those catalogs are displayed with WP_Query and you want to filter them by tag. Yes, it is possible with PRO as the Free version is working only on the archive pages. But we would recommend separating years and (i.e. “Columbia”) to not put it all together in tags, use tags for example only for years and add an ACF custom field where you’ll add the (i.e. “Columbia”) and other, so you will have two filters.

    Best Regards – Victor
