Filtering out trackbacks from comments

This is exactly what i need but I get an error of call to undefined function on line 14 for “comments_open ()”

Any suggestions?

Well I tried both noscope and scriptygoddess hacks, but I also wanted to keep some of the features of my theme, so I had to hack them in (without much knowledge of php, mind you). In the end, I figured out which part of noscope to blend into my theme’s comments.php. Took a little while, in which time, I broke it several times. Lucky for me I did a backup before I started! ??
