    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I’m not really sure what you mean here. Which filtering do you mean? Can you maybe explain this more?

Sorry, I was a bit vague.

I’m filtering rows like this: [table id=2 filter=”C” filter_columns=”3″ filter_case_sensitive=true /] which list all data which inludes letter C. It’s a list of persons and I need to list them in separate tables by their last names. It works fine when I filter them by Capital first letter.

But then I realised, that it also includes names like Yli-Cahola in the capital letter C. Which is not what I look for.

So is there a way to exlude results with – from results with included results C.

    Hi,

thanks for the explanation! Unfortunately, there’s no such possibility here. The Row Filter Extension can not use such combined filter expressions, I’m afraid.

As a workaround, I suggest to add another column in the table, where you add the desired filter letter (“C” in this case for the names with C). Then, you could limit the filter on that column. The column can then be hidden from the visitor using CSS code.

    Regards,
    Tobias
