Hi @dccreatives
Thanks for getting in touch with us and my apologies for the delayed response.
All that you have described – “a gallery widget that is filterable, lightbox with title and description” – can be done by FooGallery, except for the social share option. You will need to subscribe to one of the plans of the premium version of FooGallery, FooGallery Pro Expert, and above, to implement this.
With FooGallery Pro, you can create a gallery, add filters, and use the in-built FooGallery Pro Lightbox which will display the title and description of the image. Here’s a link to a page explaining the various FooGallery Pro features that you can use on your galleries: https://fooplugins.com/foogallery-wordpress-gallery-plugin/#features
You can try out the premium version of FooGallery for free with our 7-day trial! Simply install and activate the free version of the plugin and follow our guide to activate the trial version without needing to enter any credit card or payment details. Visit https://fooplugins.com/documentation/general/faq/start-free-trial/ for instructions. You can then play around with the various features to determine if FooGallery is the best fit for your site before having to commit to a plan.
For the social share, you can use our lightbox, FooBox, which has social share to enable you to share links to the images to various social media platforms. To learn about the many features of FooBox and FooBox Pro: https://fooplugins.com/foobox/#features
Just like FooGallery, FooBox also has a 7-day trial that you can easily activate.
However, if you prefer the FooGallery Pro Lightbox – the lightbox that is built into FooGallery Pro – then for social share icons, you can use one of these free social share plugins which will add various social media icons to FooGallery Pro Lightbox and enable users to share their images to those social media platforms.
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Kind regards,
Elvis.
