your plugin is wonderful. I really like it. Just at once place I stuck is, it creates its own categories and listings.

any possibility that, I can put the shortcode in sidebar which shows me the selected categories of wp (maybe 8 categories only out of all 15), and a shortcode in page which shows the result (posts). whenever I choose any category it shows the respective result on the same page (the page should not change).

For an example, let’s say: I have made wp categories like japan, taiwan and china and I write blog posts under these categories. now on a page https://www.abc.com/travel, I want a category list in sidebar where if I choose Japan I get to see a list of all my posts which is related to japan.

    any help please?

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Raiza

added to above, for more clarity, what I have done now is:

put a widget in sidebar “BePro listings search filter”
    put a shortcode in a page “[display_listings url_input]”

    Hi Raiza,

I’m happy you like the plugin. Please remember to leave a review here

It sounds like you need a mix between configuration changes and custom requirements.

    1) First of all, ajax (results on page) is 100% optional and can be turned off in the admin.

    2) The Shortcode concept is not specific to BePro Listings. There are many tutorials about using shortcodes. I mention this because the shortcode you shared should be used like [display_listings url_input=”https://yoururl.com”%5D

Notice that the url_input option actually has something assigned to it. Its important to understand how shortcodes work, then you will be able to use our long list of shortcodes posted here

    https://www.beprosoftware.com/bepro-listings-shortcodes/

    3) It sounds like you have found the search filter widget facilitating categories in the sidebar. However, limiting the number of categories that shows up, is definitely a custom and very rare request. If you would like help implementing this, check out our wordpress development service.

Ultimately, for help using the plugin beyond the “all in one” shortcode, please visit our Forums

Thank you. That helps my query.

I have another set of query, if you could please help.

    I got a listing category as: https://www.xyz.com/listing_types/baby-products/
and I list all online shopping websites deal in that category.

what happens now is: I see a weird look of this page:
    https://www.xyz.com/listing_types/baby-products/
It shows a very huge image (featured one) and only in one column.
how can I make it 4 column listing and make the image size short (maybe like a logo only)

Now when I click any of the listing, it takes me to the page like:
    https://www.xyz.com/listings/amazon/

    and there it shows,
    website name
    logo
all the categories that specific website is listed
    description
    comments (in tab)

I want to hide comments section and categories section and rename description

    Please help.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    Raiza
