Filter won’t work if shortcode is placed between an if condition

  • I have Simple Hooks plugin installed.
    I’ve place your shortcode in it like the one below:

    <?php
 if ( $_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"] == '/' ) { ?>

[visual_portfolio id="22" class=""]

<?php } ?>

    Categories comes up but when clicked nothing happens.
    Removing the php code the categories filter works fine.

    May you help me with this?

    Hi.

    $_SERVER["REQUEST_URI"] will return different results on different categories pages. Please make sure you know what you do with this code.
