Filter widgets don’t work on homepage

  • My website thecolouredcat.com has widgets filtering options in the left bar, but they only work when I select the category yarn bases first.

    I want them to work also from the homepage, but I can’t find were to adjust it in the customizer.?

    I have tried disable all plugins to see if there were conflicts, I have installed classic widgets to see if it would help, but I’m kind of lost, I’m not a professional builder, so code is not something I do.?

    I also tried Storefront theme and only the WooCommerce plugin, but it does the same. I’m lost, any idea someone?
