Yes, but you have to build it yourself. You can take a look at the “pdb-list-detailed.php” template and modify the search form to use your dropdown instead of the text field for the search value.

Well, it’s a bit involved if I have to explain it from the ground up. I would want to write up a tutorial and point you to that…but I’m short on time at the moment. I’ll write it up when I find some time later in the week.

It’s better if you can add this feature into an update.

I’ve got a plugin in development that does this, but for now, it needs to be done with a custom template.

The method in the article will work, I tested it, don’t give up…

i follow your orders but only the Search field and the records appears on the screen.

    There is no dropdown selector….

maybe i miss something about the parameters….is there anything into the code that i must change?

    Plugin Author xnau webdesign

    (@xnau)

Well, everything has to be exactly right. You can post the top part of your template where the search form is, there is probably a minor error somewhere.

    (@papamak)

    do you use parameters?
Something that i must change into the code?

Is it ok if i copy and paste the code as without changes?

    (@xnau)

Yes, you have to change the name of the field that is used for the dropdown. The template in the tutorial uses a field named “interests” you have to change that to the field you want to use. You have to look closely at the code and change it every time it is used.

    it works!!!!

    thanks for the support.
