• Hi,

I am trying to improve my workflow in the comment management area.

Is there a way to filter the comment meta section in the comments area in the backend? I would like to add a link beside the commenter email to search for all of his comments and also his comment count.

I’ve tried various hook but nothing useful.

I could probably do the search link thing easily in jQuery but the comment count thing would be a pain.

If I can get to filter that area, I might even add GeoIP and a country flag besides the IP address.

    Kindest regards,

There might be a way. Where exactly do you want to add extra information/links? I don’t understand what you mean by “the comment meta section”. Could this section be added by your theme or a plugin? There is no section for adding comment meta data by default. If added by an add-on module, you should ask the responsible devs.

If it’s part of the default WP, I can probably help you once I know where you’re talking about. I can tell you that extra action links and columns can be added to the comments list table (wp-admin/edit-comments.php). There’s no meta section there, but it might help your workflow all the same.

    Hi bcworkz,

yes it is absolutely part of the default WP.

Here is a screenshot of the section I am talking about : https://prnt.sc/p0cp0b

I am trying to filter the blurred data to help my workflow.
