One of our developers took a look at the error message you sent and said that since this is a notice nothing should be breaking. At this time, we do not yet fully support PHP 8.1. But rest assured, we are working on making our plugins compatible with PHP 8.1.

As a workaround, you could try downgrading your PHP to 8.0. It would be best to use this version, which we fully support

We are aware of this notice and have an internal bug ticket [TEC-4666] and added a note of this error you sent. While we don’t have an ETA, you’ll get notified once there is an update and fix.

Thanks for the response and update. As you correct mention, nothing is breaking at this time.

Should I close this as resolved with the downgrade? Or do I leave it open until it is addressed?

We’re back with good news, the FILTER_SANITIZE_STRING and deprecated PHP functions issues were fixed on Version 6.0.12, improving PHP 8.1 compatibility.

Please update the plugin to apply that fix in your websites.
