    Hello Fiona92,

The answer to your question depends on the way that the product authors are registered by your shop. If your authors are registered as attributes, or terms of a custom Woocommerce product taxonomy, then just search for the needed taxonomy in Add filters select box located in the Filters section of your preset.

On the other hand, filtering authors registered as product meta data, though theoretically possible, will entail all the inconveniences discussed in this post of our previous forum thread.

    Hello and thank you.
It is basically for the Vendor users. So multivendor store and filter by product vendors.

Unfortunately there’s no way for me to know how your multi-vendor plugin processes its vendors, but since you are sure that it’s not the meta data, it’s easy to check whether they are registered as custom product taxonomy: just search the Add filters dropdown located in the Filters section of your preset for anything that sounds like vendors!

If your multivendor environment uses some kind of proprietary registration format, then it’s definitely not possible to make a filter out of it. Our filters only support the native WordPress / Woocommerce hooks and procedures.

thank you. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show in the dropdown. I’ve seen it as an option in another plugin however I much prefer yours.

    Dear Fiona92,

I am sorry to hear that the authors option of your multivendor environment doesn’t get caught as filter! The other plugin that you refer to might be specifically tuned for your marketplace, but unfortunately we do not currently have any plans to extend our filters’ application to other platforms.

    Hello Fiona92,

I will go ahead and mark this inactive thread as resolved, but please remember that you are welcome to start another one any time you have new questions about our filtering plugin!
