Filter posts with multiple categories

I’d like to implement some sort of smarter way to categorize my posts. Let’s say a post has Category A and B. If user clicks to see what’s on category A they’ll see everything that matches plus the posts that also have category B on them. Is there any way i can let users filter whether they want that to happen or make it only show posts that have category A and ignore the others that have Cat A and B at the same time.
