Filter posts with category ID not working

    Hi, its a great plugin uve devloped.

    but i found a problem while using it, i know u already have topic to discuss this problem but it mark as resolved, meanwhile when i use that method my problem cant be resolved.

    I did put the category tag_ID as u order, but ur plugin keep showing all of my articles not only articles with id ive added.

    Here’s the shortcode

    [pld_post_list category=”12345″]

    Ps : 12345 (an example number) comes from tag_id number of my category.

    Thanks for the shortcode.

    Can you please confirm you are using category id or tag id?

    The lite version only supports the category id not tag id.

    Have you checked with the category id?

    Im using tag_ID

    Only tag_ID contain number in url…where can i find the cat id ???

    The same way you can find the category id in web page URL when you edit them.

    no luck

    on article you share me to, its also write that tag_ID is category ID

    as my screenshots are showing, there’s no other ID i can find except the tag_ID

    so, which category ID you mean to ??

    i forgot to screenshot the url of my category

    here

    taxonomy=category&tag_ID=146608&post_type=post&wp_http_referer=%2Fwp-admin%2Fedit-tags.php%3Ftaxonomy%3Dcategory

    146608 is my category id

    and the plugin should show only post with “Article” category, but as u see in my screenshots all articles are showing

    Thanks for the screenshots. The category ID is correct.

    The issue is in the shortcode which you have added. [pld_post_list category="12345"]

    As per the screenshot, It looks like that the double quote (“) are converted into special character (”). This generally happens when we copy the shortcode and paster it into the WordPress editor visual tab.

    Kindly remove the quote from shortcode and add it again. Now save it and check. It will work for you ??
