    Hi there,

I am experiencing an issue that is likely related to an AJAX request. The problem occurs when I use a product filter plugin to filter products by their attributes. The filtering works correctly initially, but after listing the corresponding products for a moment, it redirects me to a random product page. To be more specific, I have used both “WCAPF – WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter” and “Filter Everything — Product Filter & WordPress Filter,” and both plugins produce the same result. The issue does not occur when I disable your plugin, so I suspect there is a conflict between them. How can I resolve this issue?

    Best regards!

    Hello @xyexample,

    Greetings for the day!

I have tried the “WCAPF – WooCommerce Ajax Product Filter” plugin on the site and created a form to add the filters. However I’m unable to replicate the issue.

Here is the reference screen recording: https://bsf.d.pr/v/OVegrh

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi there,

I think I’ve figured out why you couldn’t replicate the issue, but I still believe it’s related to the plugin (even though I was initially wrong). The reason you couldn’t replicate it is that I forced variants to be selected. When I disable that function, the problem seems to go away. However, after using the filter, if I click on the variation swatch, it redirects me to the corresponding product page as if the swatch is acting like a link. This only happens after filtering, and because I forced the variant selection, it sends me straight to a product page.

I’m hope that we can solve this somehow, as I suspect it’s related to the plugin. I was able to reproduce the exact same issue on a new WordPress site.

    Best regards!

    Thanks for writing back.

I tried to set the default variation selected but still couldn’t see the issue on my end.

I’m having trouble understanding this problem. I created a fresh WordPress site and was able to replicate the issue again. I’m unsure of the best way to demonstrate this to you or what might be the best option to resolve the problem. To help, I’ve created a reference screen recording. Please take a look at it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nKKXWJykEW1HW-CffxfCEOJhm1PsRAQO/view?usp=sharing
