I have a boolean custom field that indicates when an order was entered manually. I’d like to filter those orders from reporting/dashboards. What is the best-practices approach for this? I have searched high and low and can’t find a clear answer. Can this be accomplished within Woo, or is there a plugin that can achieve this?

    Hello @blaircarbonzero,

I have a boolean custom field that indicates when an order was entered manually.

You will need to write a custom function and modify the core in order to do this.

This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

    Thanks!
