So I’m going with the default installation and its pretty good but for our purposes, I’d like the filters to combine city and state instead of each being a separate filter.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@janostgaspar I archived your reply. Don’t post your email or all of those links again.

If anyone did contact you from the forums then they would be promptly banned from this site.

If you have an update to your topic them (without the links) please feel free to add that here.

If the volunteer developer of this plugin, doing this on their own free time, for free doesn’t reply or someone else is not able to help you (I’m a forum moderator and do not use this plugin) then please look elsewhere for a replacement plugin instead.

    Jan,

There is no alternative. Bullhorn is a paid service (not inexpensive) and it’s not a small company. This is the only plug-in to create a job board for a wordpress site that they provide. Not sure why they would provide it without any guidance and refer me to this forum for help when clearly the developer is busy with other projects and apparently provides his time for free. Trust me, if there was an alternative plug-in, I would have found it and used it by now. But, it is what it is. Thanks.

If you are a customer of theirs, and please remember I do not use this plugin, then the developer cannot support you on this site. They’re not allowed to, no one can support customers here.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the developer directly on their site. This includes any pre-sales topics as well.

As the developer is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

    Hi Jan,

Everyone here is a subscriber to Bullhorn. It is a commercial product that is subscription based per user. This plugin was made to support that commercial product so I am not sure what you mean because this is the site Bullhorn technical support provides us Bullhorn users (customers) for implementing a job board on our corporate websites. The plugin is provided free by Bullhorn (I suppose as a service to its customers) but Bullhorn itself is not free. And there would be no other use for this plugin other than to extend Bullhorn functionality to their customer websites. It is a useless plugin for anyone who doesn’t subscribe to Bullhorn. The plugin itself is free so I don’t think it falls under “commercial product” by your definition, although I’m not sure. This is where Bullhorn sends us for help. So they treat this plugin as separate from their own product. But, without any actual support, the most Bullhorn users can do is install the plug-in as is. Customization is not supported by Bullhorn – they say to contact the developer, who is Charles.

    Hello,

I have followed up on my end with the support rep that directed you here, as it appears to have been done erroneously. The examples you provided are from earlier versions of this plugin. The city and state options were separated due to feedback as the candidate experience of finding the correct city and state combination was a bit arduous.

I misinterpreted this post as solely a feature request so I was leaving it for future triage and consideration in future versions of the Career Portal. Apologies for the radio silence.

The previous versions of the plugin are available for download, and the source code for the Angular portion of the portal that is iframed in is also available for extension as well. This is so anyone is able to add or modify any existing features in the portal without much effort.

    Thank you, Charles.

Sorry to pester but which previous version would you recommend I use that has the city and state combined – 3.2 or 2.1.1? Or something else?

    (@janostgaspar)

And sorry again but the link to the Angular for iframe code leads to a 404

This is the link I tried to use, my apologies: https://github.com/bullhorn/career-portal

Version 1.0.1 was the last version with that style of career portal.

Please let me know if you have any questions
