Filter for the location of the template.php

Hi,

I think it would be nice to have a filter for the location of the template. Can be a bit dirty to have this in the theme, we don’t always have a child theme or we don’t always have the same developers working on it. I would prefer to have this into a separate plugin for example. And that would be really easy to add this option for you ??
