How can I add my own parameter without hacking the plugin core?

@the_alien_01 : You have to use the add_filter function with the grayscale_gamma_correction to change the default value.

For example :

add_filter('grayscale_gamma_correction', 'fab1en_custom_gamma');
function fab1en_custom_gamma($gamma){
    return 0.9;
}
