Filter does not show currently ‘active’ option

    The filter is working on the page with 2 options. However, it does not show the currently active option when a filter has been set. This is confusing as it appears the filter did not work until you scroll down and inspect the posts to see if they have changed.

    How can I make the dropdown box show the active selection?
