Dear GiveWP, I have installed and check your sandbox demo, I have seen two problem.

    1. Filter date input in reports is having problem

When I only select the start date, the filter automatically loads the data. Ex: I want to choose 01/01/23 – 01/31/23, when I choose 01/01/23 the filter will load 01/01/23 – current date (03/05/23).

If I go back in calendar and choose 01/31/23, data in chart not update and show wrong data.

    My Suggetion:

    • Let user pick start date and end date before loading data.
    • Add reload data button.

    2. Report ? Fund return wrong report, I think missing data in first of month.

    Thank you,
    Nguyen

    Hi @nguyenrom,
Glad you reached out. I spun up a handful demo sites of my own, and in each site everything functioned as expected. Here’s a quick screencast of the Reporting in one of the sites, which shows that information updating when I change the date range.

I understand you would prefer that the data not populate while the date range is being selected, and I’ve created a feature request for that here: https://feedback.givewp.com/feature-requests/p/allow-user-to-select-date-range-in-reporting-before-populating-data. I’m linking your ticket so we can reach back out to you once we have a resolution. You can also follow our progress or provide details of your own at that link.

When I viewed the revenue in the sandbox, it was also correct. I’m not able to troubleshoot an issue that isn’t reliably replicable in some way. Because I wasn’t able to replicate this, I’m relatively stuck. I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved for now, but if you still have questions you can create a new ticket here and we’ll be happy to give things a look. Have a great day!

    Hi @stephanieliy

I have made new demo at https://demo.givewp.com/

    For video detail: https://app.usebubbles.com/nNbrfCQprv1WSVZg4EQ1Zp/give-wp-wrong-reports

    1. From 01/01/2023 – 01/31/2023 = $127,918.65
? At 00:20 in video return 139,316.65 (wrong data). You must click 01/31/2023 again to show right data.
    2. The correct data is $127,918.65 but Fund report return: $127,549.52
? Missing $369.13, I think missing data in first date of month.

    Thank you,
    Nguyen

    Hi @nguyenrom,
I’ve been trying to replicate this, but still haven’t been successful. My demos report the information correctly.

For issue #1, I’ve created a feature request to change how that data populates. This isn’t a bug, it’s the way it is intended to function. That being said, it never hurts to give ideas like this a look in case they are helpful for GiveWP users, which is why it is in as a feature request.

Issue #2 isn’t replicable for me, and that leaves me relatively stuck. If this is happening in an actual site and is replicable I can do some digging, but without a way to replicate I can’t troubleshoot. If you are able to get this replicable on a site, I’d be happy to give things a look.

    Have a great day!
