Hi, I have a few pages on my site that need to show some products, I am using a shortcode to publish the products on the page – [products limit=”1000″ columns=”4″ orderby=”id” order=”DESC”].

However this page is not recognized as a WooCommerce “shop” page so the filter by attribute and price widgets I have on the left menu are not showing, here are the attribs that I have in all of my other shop and category pages – https://i.imgur.com/CQW9Ej0.png.
After searching online I read that these filters are not supported on non-shop pages:

Can anyone suggest a workaround for this? Is there any way to create “custom shop pages” so these filters will show?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi @rcahana,

Out of the box, product filter widgets do not appear in pages created by the use of product shortcodes – as you correctly mentioned.

You’d need to use either a plugin or custom coding to get around that.

Doing a quick internet search, I found this third-party plugin that promises to do just that: enable product filters in product shortcodes.

Note that this plugin is not developed by the WooCommerce team, nor have I tested it myself to see if it works – but I thought you might be interested in giving that a try.

    Hopefully that helps!

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
