    Hello,

    I would like to use this plugin for a small private family site, to post brief news.
    I’m happy with this plugin, except a problem:
    In the FAQ, you say that we can filter news by date (year, or year/month), but you do not say how to proceed. I tried to put the URL /news/2019/, but the page is not found.
    Which shortcode should be used to display only news from 2018, for example?

    Thank you for answering.

    I partially solved the problem, using the plugin Custom Post Type date Archives: it allows to display the URL as /news/2018. This plugin is light, but I don’t need all the code of this extension.
    Can you take a look at this plugin? Perhaps could you help by indicating which part of the code would be enough to put in the file functions of my theme, just to get date archives of news?

    Never mind if there is no shortcode, I will simply put a link to the archive page.

    Hello,

    we have checked the plugin, there are many files related to each other, So it’s, not a few line code.
    It is hard to separate the code.
    You can use the same plugin.

    I had hoped that there would be a simple solution with some code … Too bad!
    Maybe for a future development, a solution with a shortcode to filter by year?
