Filter Button Reloads Page and Moves to Top

I am inserting the shortcode ( [aol] ) to view all of my ad listings at the bottom of a page. Is there anyway to make it so that when the ‘Filter’ button is used it does not reload the whole page and start from the top? Alternatively, is it possible to have the Filter button redirect to a separate page with the same listings to avoid the issue?
