Filter button padding

Hi,

I am filtering columns within a table and have hidden the search box, but I am struggling to change the padding for the resulting filter select button, it’s responsive to border and background changes, but not to padding, even when using !important – are you able to assist?

I’ve used so far:

.dataTables_filter {
	display: none;
}

.widget-1 {
	border: none;
	background: #f5f5f5;
}
