In the page that I define the product details, when I fill the input “Product Link” in order to customize the url of my product then in the catalog When I click on the product to see its page, I get a 404 error message that the page doesn’t exist.

If I don’t fill anything in that input then the product page loads successfully.

In Options / SE0 I have set the Pretty Permalinks to YES and I have filled the slug input in the product details

I have the premium version of the plugin..

  • Hi jon,

The “Product Link” field is for linking to a page other than the built-in product page (for example: if you want to link to an affiliate URL or a page on another site). It isn’t for controlling/customizing the URL of the built-in product page. That’s what the slug is for.

Ok I understood the field “Product Link” what is for.

    However, I still get a 404 error!
I created a product, I filled the input slug with “cup-165”, in the Options/SEO tab I have checked the “Pretty Permalinks” to yes.

    What am I missing?

I just realized that when I add the the polylang plugin to translate my site, then then I get the 404 error!!

I tried WPML and I don’t face the problem anymore..
