Filling in Profile Details after Registration

Users can fill in profile details from their profile once their account is registered. You can add the required fields in the profile form which can be filled in by the user and submit their data.

@aswingiri I tried that and it seems you can not edit profile fields in the profile page only ij the account page. While the fields like for example “school” do appear in the profile page they do not appear in the account page where you are usually able to actually Update these fields.

Basically on my end profile you can only view your fields while account you can only edit and view certain fields “first name” , “last name” . But more custom fields do not appear in this section “school”.

@gelieys I tried that too last night. I did add the code to the theme’s functions.php as stated in the tutorial but did not see any changes when going back to my WordPress backend for the ultimate member forms.

I assumed I did the tutorial correctly but I might have not.

@aswingiri I have figured out what you were explaining now. Is there a way to make a form that is type profile however this copy when clicking the update button will redirect you to a different page while also updating the information?

You can try this code snippet for Form specific redirect.
Change 1061 to your Form ID.
