Hi there. I love the table, it gives our client a great overview about our projects. The articles I publish in wp should all be displayed in the table. It is the reference list of our projects. Now I type in manually a new row after I published a new article. Is it possible to fill a new row in the table automatically with some pre defined fields from the new article? Regards, Thomas

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, filling a table with the data from new articles automatically is not possible. That’s out of scope for TablePress.

Instead, you could use a custom Page Template in your theme, and use the WordPress Template Tag functions in a separate Query/Loop to retrieve the article data and then render an HTML table from that. If you then want, you can add the JS functions like sorting, search, and pagination, manually by loading the DataTables JS library.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thx Tobi for your immediate response. Your solutions sounds too high level for me. I will stick with the old procedure. Best Regards, Thomas
