    Hello,
In a store that offers very small priced products, I don’t want the number of products to be inserted in the field next to the “Add to Cart” button.

I am looking for the possibility that the customer enters a sum / amount that he wants to spend.
DO NOT confuse this with a solution that accepts a suggested price for a product.

For example, if a product costs 0.05, he should not enter 2000 pieces … but the amount he wants to pay – so 100.-.
Then the number will be calculated accordingly and additional fees etc. will be charged in the cart.

The product is available with the price of 0.05 in the store and the cart and the invoice is calculated accordingly.
So only another way of the conclusion.Since there is only one product, there is also no question of whether you control this for certain products (alls the plugin that ggfs. can not).

Question – is there a plugin?
    Thank you

  • Hi @fde68

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you are looking for a solution that allows customers to enter a specific amount they want to spend on a product, rather than specifying the number of products they want to purchase.

Based on your requirements, I would recommend using our premium plugin Name Your Price which allows your customers to enter their desired spending amount for a product, and the quantity will be calculated accordingly. Please note that this plugin is not intended for accepting suggested prices for a product, but rather for calculating the quantity based on the amount entered by the customer.

Did you know that if you want to try our products, it comes with a 30-day refund policy? If the product doesn’t work the way you need it or you think another product would work better, we are more than happy to offer a full refund. You can read more about our refund policy on our website here.

    Hope this helps!

Hello, i purchased this plugin now – but it has a problem, i asked about before. Is this a setting? Or misunderstanding and the plugin is not workable for us?

If the user fills in his price, the system is not calculating the numbers of products (based on the price per item)

Explanation: We have a product with a low price … 0,05 for example.
If now the user fills in 100,- then the system needs to sell 2000 pieces and book these 2000 pieces.

But it stays on 1 item. In the case, the user does not fill anything in the numbers field – how much itmes he wants to buy.
He will buy just one product for this price …

In this way, the plugin is not acceptable for us – that should not work.

Please let us know, is this a misunderstanding – or where should i set something in the plugin settings?
Or should we use another plugin with this functionality?

    Thank you!
    Best Frank

    Hi Frank,

I understand that you have purchased the Name Your Price extension, and would like some guidance on the settings, and further information on its capabilities, yes?

Since your question pertains to a premium extension, please contact us directly at WooCommerce.com → My Account → Support. You will need to log in with the account used to purchase the extension before you can access that page.

As per the forum guidelines, no support for premium extensions is done here but we will be happy to assist you further from there ??

    Thanks for understanding!
