Filezilla Permission Deinied

  • I tried to rename a file in /opt/bitnami/apps/wordpress/htdocs/wp-includes folder on Filezilla.

    But the permission was denied.

    I’ve just installed my wordpress with Bitnami stack on AWS and have accessed Filezilla with my ppk file.

    Does the ID under which you’re using FZ have write access to that folder? I would imaging that stuff in /opt/bitnami is owned by root and not some other user.

    It’s a LOT better to install WordPress by downloading it from www.remarpro.com and installing it in the “web space” than using a single-click installer like bitname, IMHO.
